the most recent update patch brought many balances and fixes. basilisks (the standard gunner's turret on many tanks and vehicles) are now hella strong, and gone are the armies of glowing purple crab men roflstomping the shit out of everything.

But the patch did bring a lot of balancing. The cries of "NERF ZOE" were actually answered for some reason. Our crabs will have to suffice with shooting lasers at republicans(tr) and rednecks(nc).

VS tactics are still OP.

don't get me wrong, i still like to play VS but I'd rather be VS on any other server than matty, i hate being associated with the likes of GOKU and DA

those two are pretty much non-existent at this point. i havent seen many of them at all.

i don't notice it on my pc but on my laptop with onboard graphics it runs decently on low settings

also i'm kinda sad i can't use auto-repair and proximity scan on my Lightning at the same time anymore. it was my favorite anti-ground loadout. i think i'm gonna sacrifice proximity scan , keep the auto repair and also fire extinquisher, since i usually don't roll engie when i pull a Lightning (95% of the time i'm playing HA)

what do you guys think of Amerish now?

i've done a few alerts there and it really feels like a complete continent now and the layered base designs make for some really amazing control point battles.

i'm still not 100% familiar with the layout of the continent but so far i like it a lot better. amerish used to be my least favorite continent to fight on but i like them all equally now

it finally got some unique bases. the flow of some of the fights reaches a kind of standstill in some areas but in general i really like what they have done.

the best thing about it is that spawn shields are now opaque from the outside, but see-thru on the inside, which only encourages spawnroom warriors

i noticed that and at first i thought it was a bug but then i realized it was actually brilliant and probably done on purpose. at the very least it will discourage spawn camping a little more, although i bet that infiltrator becaons still work inside of bases so people will know roughly where people are inside anyway
