creamcorn

they arent dragging at all. so much happened in that latest episode alone
first hank suspects walt
then walt suspects hank knows
hank knows WW is walt
walt knows hank knows
then, hank knows walt knows he knows

they cut right to the chase from the first episode on because they have a LOT of ground to cover
Oh and don't forget how the episode started. For me, the new episode had everything I wanted it to have and more ("more" being the way it started). Got no problem with it.

and rtil, damn, you're right. I think Walter White is Nappa!

I wish he was still a baby so I could squish his head more so later he'd be able to star in the new black comedy Coneheads

Prediction time!

What do you think will happen towards the end of the series? Why did Walt buy that gun? Why did he return to his house and get the Ricin? (<-too vague to be considered spoilers I hope).

Please post your predictions in spoiler tags.
What I think will happen is that the cancer of Walt makes a full return. He is in a dire situation because the DEA is clearly after him - they found out and broadcasted that he is Heisenberg (thus the graffiti in his house). Jesse is also in deep trouble, probably with Lydia and her "Gang" getting him to cook again, potentially against his will. Or maybe just holding him to get Heisenberg back. Walt got the Ricin to deal with it but as a back-up plan, he also got the gun; he is willing to sacrifice his life to save Jesse and he will do so at the end of the last episode.

hank kills himself
heisenburg fakes his own death, gets a new identity, kills todd and the nazis
skyler, the kids, and marie get new identities and live on the money heisenburg buries in the desert
jesse gets a new identity and moves to alaska with francis, hal's OTHER son
http://www.youtube.com/user/televisionpromosdb/videos <-they have all the "Inside" and "behind the scenes" stuff for every new Breaking Bad episode. It's kind of disappointing that they didn't focus those at all on the "confession" for the episode that is titled "Confession".

RichChap

that episode was great. i think what might happen is
jesse is going to set fire to the house, the confession tape is going to get out, and people are going to think that hank did it maybe?

his house isn't burned down in the flashforward though

i have no fucking clue how this will play out

my guess is hank's whole "going out for a while" means he's following jesse, and he stops the fire from taking place and they strike up a deal, heisneburg catches wind of it and skips town.
skyler or hank dies, it has to be one of them i don't see any other way
walt returns with the m60 to exact revenge and make peace with himself before using the ricen on himself and ending his miserable life

Ricin doesn't work so fast, as you will probably remember. I also don't agree with the "hank or skyler dies" thing but it does make sense in a way. Aside from that, the whole first line of what you said seems like a very good guess imo. After watching the trailer for the next episode, I'm still not sure if Jesse's "Mr.White... he's the devil" line is Jesse talking to Walt or Jesse talking to someone else.

yeah, i was aware of the fact that ricen takes a few days to take effect but something tells me he uses it on himself, maybe as motivation to carry out whatever he's planning with the m60?
oh geez i remember that commercial

psi43

oookay so there's a TON of stuff happening in the new episode that basically makes everything I thought and read (as well as read in this thread) invalid. Pretty damn good episode.
where does walt really live
what the hell does jesse have planned
that's all i can think about now
