hey im gonna throw in my 20p with

mad setting, characters and an undefinable genre.

gothic fantasy of manners is a kinda blunt description

"He was shown the smallness and tinsel emptiness of the little Earth gods, with their petty, human interests and connections - their hatreds, rages, loves and vanities; their craving for praise and sacrifice and their demands for faiths contrary to reason and nature."

"...it stimulates the part of the brain called "shatners-bassoon", and that's the bit of the brain that deals with...time perception..."

I very recently finished reading this. I didn't enjoy it as much as some of Orwell's other work, but it was favourable nonetheless.

I'm also reading The Wisdom Of Insecurity  by Alan Watts. It's pretty insightful.

I'm finishing up

It's boring and useless common sense.. probably.

I'm currently reading Silver Linings Playbook

so far, it reads more like a coming to age story rather than how the movie adapted it.

I plan on eventually reading the following:

<@reptilicus> am I in backwards land?
<@reptilicus> if i go to the toilet will poop go up into my rectum

naturally

Lambdanaut

I ordered Lost at Sea because of this thread.

Holy shit that was awful. Keep your fucking teenage angst to yourselves.
