iTunes is the worst media player available
it hogs resources and has compatibility for very few types of audio files
their store is a rip-off, riddled with DRM and doesn't have a good selection
and the quality of their mp3's are not that great

iTunes 7 runs terrible on my PC so I sometimes use iTunes 6. I listen to CDs on Windows Media Player.

Edit-

The only mp3s I downloaded online are a seven minute live version of Around the World / Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger that isn't available for legal purchase and some song I illegally downloaded called Face by The Black Ghosts. I refuse to pay money for an mp3 of that song in crappy quality and I'm not willing to online order the single of that song for a ridiculous amount of a money.

iTunes is annoying. whenever you move a music file you have to re-import it for it to play in iTunes. so if youre organising your folders (which i never really do anyway) youre fucked.

iTunes runs alot better on my Mac than is does on my PC, because a Mac is so structure. Of course I dislike that about Macs. They're pretty and white though. *not racist*
