Bad games can often bring bad memories. He has obviously played a lot of shitty game in the past and I don't blame him for wanting to complain about some of them.

I think he originally made the first Angry Nintendo Nerd video as a joke. He thought nobody but his friends would find it funny. He's probably pretty surprised at how popular he has gotten.

I really doubt that he even likes that videos. He's a video editor though and he does all of that stuff, so I think he uses his AVGN shit to get known out there (he puts a lot of effects into them. The nightmare on elmstreet thing had really nice effects)
