everyone improves and works at their own pace it's as simple as that
and i don't ever compare people in terms of "x is better than y" because it's not fair and is pretty much as subjective as you can get, but i think a big factor of improving is really caring about what you're doing and not being afraid to let out your imagination. i don't think zekey has any problem with that at all, in fact he's one of the most imaginative artists i know. there's too much rigid art out there with no feeling. i blame anime for a lot of that, as asian animators tend to animate in a really stiff fashion (even ghibli), and while there is merit to staying on-model, sometimes it can get a little ridiculous

everyone has their own way of working and animating. plus rtil is really going for a career in animation so id imagine he's pushing himself pretty hard

i think progressing in animation depends on your effort, artistic skill, creativity and love for it. i used to animate for about 2 hours a week and make nothing great, and i was getting nowhere. nowadays if im not out at night, ill usually spend 3/4 hours on flash, wether its drawing, creating test animations or full productions. and ive seen huge improvements

youve just gotta keep going for it. there isnt a flash animator out there who hasnt got room for improvement, even the best can keep getting better

How do you do it?? I'm jealous.

you gotta take into account that he had like 4 or 5 years of drawing experience before he started using flash

i did? i drew stick figures in high school mostly. i drew a lot, but i didn't have any formal training
