You have had the urge to watch some old shows from way ago? Or maybe a cartoon you never got to see because you got home from school too late? Yeah me too.

As of late, I'm watching Medabots, some old anime about toys robots with lots of fighting abilities who work with their human companions. Everybody has one and yeah, it's p cool watching robots fight. Also, I dig Metabee's personality and stubbornness; I think this series is based on a game by the same name from developer/publisher Natsume.

I found Thundercats season 1 for 10 bucks at wally world and scooped that up, gonna watch that after Medabots. Then maybe some Bubblegum Crisis. Yeah.

recently i rewatched tenchi muyo! ryo-ohki, the first anime i ever watched and got me interested in anime. watching it now i appreciate it more and wonder how much work went into cutting and editing to make it appropriate for the old toonami. it's a very dirty show :D

all the WB cartoons are loaded with innuendo. it's great

animaniacs was a brilliant show and probably one of my favorites from the times i had to stay with granny in the bronx. i got some of the dirty and silly jokes they made, but the ones about old hollywood actors and movies i didn't get. i remember watching some uncensored tenchi stuff and it was quite naughty. something about washu wanting to get a sample of tenchi's.... um, fluids?

Washu was prime MILF material.

lookin' real good for being 20,000 years old!

i haven't actively sought out these shows yet, but evangelion, the prime seasons of the simpsons and anything about the tick i can find are definitely on my list
also i don't know if that rurouni kenshin ova about his days as battosai is any good but i'll try to find that as well

as for movies, there are so many good anime movies from the 80s and 90s it's ridiculous. rewatched akira these days, even knowing the details of the manga the movie is still amazing. found out about angel's egg through someone on the irc (thank you) and recommend that as well

Bogswallop

I bought a Bucky O'Hare dvd a while back cause I remember enjoying it as a kid. Turned it off 10 minutes in. Absolutely awful. I must have been a stupid kid.

about two years ago my brother jokingly bought me a Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 dvd titled "The Trouble with Koopas" and I didn't watch it until a year later. That show was CHALK FULL of animation errors, it was ridiculous.

That intro looked and sounded absolutely terrible. I kept hearing Fucky o'hare. Heh.

The SMB cartoon is notorious for it's outstanding animation.

Medabots was great, I liked Monster Rancher too. I feel like those are decent shows that I can watch again now and still enjoy, unlike Pokemon or Yugioh which were actually shitty.

I think the problem with shows like Pokemon is that they're entirely made to sell the merchandise and no more. I mean, don't get me wrong, I loved Pokemon (still kind of do) but the anime was subpar. You can always tell a show was designed strictly for selling merc when the animation is well below that of other shows that debut around the same time period. Yugioh had the same problem and I'm sure no one watches the new episodes but >

I don't think a single fuck was given when they made the design of these characters.

holy shit it's like they have mineral formations growing out of their heads
