i'm surprised this doesn't have a topic yet

show's pretty fantastic. the first 6 episodes are already around the web and it's the best cartoon i've seen in awhile. i actually like it more than adventure time/regular show/etc.

i've heard good things about this, and it's a mandatory watch for me because neil hamburger does the voice of a character (toby determined). i've been meaning to check it out but it's never on when i actually watch TV.

I've been watching it and so far I've really been enjoying it. There's one thing that irks though, they don't seem to have decided on whether the characters have 5 fingers or 4 fingers. Some characters have 5, others 4, or the number of fingers will change between shots a lot. Otherwise, the animation is really well done, that opening is goddamn gorgeous. Also, Thurop Van Orman voices a character who's most likely recurring.

yeah the first time i noticed that was on the lil' gideon episode when he had 5 fingers and dipper had 4. but what really made it obvious is that lil' gideon's hands are way smaller so they look all clustered compared to dipper's.

still as far as everything else goes i love it. the 5th episode's my favourite so far, and i absolutely love the opening.

[spoiler]Mabel is based on Alex Hirsch's sister, and Grunkel Stan is based off of his grandpa.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]One of the voice actors drew the little illumanity top hat guy in my book with the caption "look out for meeeee!"[/spoiler]

[spoiler]There will hopefully be a soundtrack album released sometime in the future, as the music seems popular enough[/spoiler]
