the question is, could you imprison or punish someone for producing something which isn't even real? Even pedophiles cannot be prosecuted as long as they haven't done anything and that certainly is a sad reality but how ridiculous would it be to actually punish someone by law for producing, sharing or looking at a fictional depiction of something illegal or something that society condemns?

If an original creator of a charecter decides that this character has a certain age, such as 21, who exactly can refute it? If an author creates a character based on special circumstances (supernatural being such as a vampire; +400yrs of age, cyborg, alien, whatever) and insists that she just looks the way she does although she is an adult, what exactly can you do against it as long as no real children are involved? You could go by the simple rule that anything that looks kind of childlike is simply outlawed and then you would and up like the australians, banning porn with small breasts, encouraging discrimination against real females. And even if you had an elaborate system based on the outer appearance of fictional characters, where exactly is the border and who defines it? Does it make certain activities such as dressing characters up in schoolgirl outfits or wearing diapers illegal? How about midget girls with huge breasts? Written literature? Is Nabokov's lolita now entartete Kunst? And when exactly does the depiction of sexual acts start?

You might condemn it, I might condemn it to a certain extend. Others might enjoy it and openly show their affection but I think as long as you don't print babyfuck on a white shirt and wear it for your next shift in kindergarten, everything should be fine...

it shouldnt be illegal, but drawing fictional child pornography or pleasuring oneself to it certainly should not be regarded or respected as a normal sexual behavior or desire.
