everything about this is great (even turning my stripy tunic into a shirt for a butt joke)

[spoiler]i actually wanted to give her a dress and turn the butt joke into a pantyshot joke (and when tammy turns into shida they get disturbed because they see his balls dangling) but i opted out of it because it would be too off-model and i was afraid it would offend people (but now the joke isnt as good imo)

i do have the skirt version btw. ill edit the comic if i get the OK[/spoiler]

Oh my god Chicken I have not laughed this much in a long time! You really blew all the stops and delivered not only a very entertaining comic but one that flowed well, had wonderfully good pacing in the panels, timing in the jokes, and juggled all these characters like a skilled performer (for 12 pages even wow!). Not to mention the artwork was solid and the expressions and movements were visceral and energetic. I mean I could read not only the way these characters physically moved within the space, but I could also imagine the way they acted and projected their individual personas...truly great character acting! I think my fav characters in here was RedM for breaking the fourth wall and somehow knowing they were all in a comic and his faces were drawn so shaded and detailed and exaggerated like he came out of a Gil Thorp comic strip lol, and Ash's scene because of his boot kick in the chair and the sly faces he'd make.... Ah I loved this comic so much and I don't mean to gush but I feel it's truly deserved. Great Job Chicken! I actually want to draw my own character for this comic thing now...

also, the reason why redm knows its a comic is explained by shida as 'i dunno, interdimensional stuff'. maybe its not clear what she means by that, but shes referring to his superpower: time travel and interdimensional manipulation. and why he looks different from the rest is because hes from a different dimension

i dont think its necessary to get them (theyre kinda old and dead jokes too) to get the whole picture , which is that tba likes to hear inside jokes so much, they get send to an inside-joke-cirklejerk-dance-trance everytime someone mentions one.

someone needs to find that picture zekey drew of yungs character with the arrows and shit, i cant find it
anyway, there was a while where people wanted for their characters to be part of rtil's freetown, which is ridiculous. yungjazz was one of them

so how is part 2 going to be approached? will the next artist be filled in by chicken on who's in the robot for continuity's sake? or are they supposed to just run with it

i dont know how the story goes after this or who is in the robot but i could help write the next chapter if the next artist finds that helpful. the next artist can also use this:

2. theme:
* EDIT: basic setting we decided on (how all of the characters know each other) is going to be a support group "for the gifted". this doesn't mean the comic has to always take place there, because that would be really boring. (spoilers: the support group is actually run by some rich assholes who want to eradicate people with aforementioned powers/gifts before they get in control of their powers and realize they could take over the world)
* people can have "powers" or just general aptitudes/skill themes. try to pick at least one or the other
* generally, we decided that characters are going to be somewhat based on our tba personas. take that however you want

what im worried about are the characters. can people still submit more? or will that make it too crowded and is the whole story gonna be about those 13 characters? if its ok to add more, i think the new characters that people submit in the signup thread should influence what happens in the next chapter.
