My name is Coolboyman but you can call me Adam.  You may have seen me in the chat over the past week but now I'm here on the actual forums.  Something recently possessed me to get into actual flash animation... so we'll see how that turns out.  I figured this would be the perfect place for me to crash at.  I've always wanted to do real animation but something always demotivated me.

In the meantime I'm working on getting my bachelors in Computer Science, hopefully this year.  I'm a game programmer, making one game for Xbox indies and I'm freelancing for someone on another game for the nicest guy in the world.  I also ROM Hack. Look up Pokemon Brown and Pokemon Prism if your curiosity sparks you.  Zilog 80 for the win.  I'm also working on a few tools related to ROM hacking, one that will allow people to make their own Banjo-Kazooie game using the old n64 engine.

That's enough of me tooting my own horn.  Oh BTW since I know you're going to bring it up... yes... I did that one other little thing on Newgrounds over a decade ago...

And I should have seen this question coming too.  Short answer: nope.

Long answer: I created the characters and wrote the script.  Almost all of the audio was recorded, a few backgrounds were done and and some animatics.  And that's about it.  The animation and art wasn't done by me of course, I was more concerned about the actual story telling process at the time.  That, and I couldn't fucking draw.

I was way too optimistic for my own good (Guy told me that hundreds upon hundreds of pilots are made every single year, most don't even get finished), but then again I wasn't in a good situation in real life during that time, so I guess this gave me hope.  I found my true calling in the meantime (programming games).  I still think it's a neat concept, but looking back, there was no way in hell this would have been made into a series, especially on a children's network. I was WAY over my head.  The subject matter wasn't really "adult", it's just that it might offend people who didn't understand what I was trying to portray this world as (and would offend even more people today as people become more and more PC).  Kids wouldn't get it, and the average adult would just think I'm an asshole.  Plus looking back... I think it was more depressing than funny. 

What lead to it's cancellation was that I and pretty much everyone else realized it wasn't going to work.  I did learn a lot during that process so I don't regret it.  Only thing I regret is my optimism.  Too much optimism is bad for you.

I may revisit the idea in one of my future flashes.  That attempt was just another attempt over the last decade to make a great cartoon.  Now days I might be able to achieve a more realistic goal when making a cartoon.
