Didn't wan't to create a new thread so I am using this one.
Found a program called fences which allows you to organize your desktop much better.
I guess the main reason I like it is that if your screen resolution changes frequently it will put everything back where it should be instead of a scrambled mess.

The free version is pretty nifty but there's one you can buy which I haven't used or plan to but it could put new files in its own fence automatically and by file type and other junk.
Its 19 dollars and that's not something I would pay for this kind of program.

I'm sure there is better programs like it somewhere and I haven't really used it that much but its something I always wanted.
