can multiplayer games be resumed? i have it installed. so what do i do now? :o

That I actually don't know yet. I've only played a small bit so far. O:

It's best to play a single player game to get to grips with everything before going into multiplayer I guess, t'was what I did. Then a frequent FreeCiv'er showed me the ropes a bit. The community is very nice from what it seems.

It works in the same way as in Civ II: You can use the arrow keys (which was always ineffecient), click and drag (which may not work if they are in the middle of a city as it'll instead select the city), or you can press G and move the units the old fashioned way. The tabs up top are very useful and don't forget to keep an eye on the tabs below the gameboard screen, that's where your chat, messages, diplomacy, nation score, and research tree goes.
