I used to think Nani was blonde until I saw the colour spread ):
Oda's odd anatomy style lends extremely well to the (completely and ridiculously silly) story though - it would be a whole different kettle of fish if it didn't look so goofy.

you went all that time without seeing a colour pic of the ginger goddess that is nami wtf

and yes the over the top art style does suit it, much like how bleach has a boring and shitty artstyle to suit its boring and shitty writing

Well when I started reading it, it was in the UK Shounen Jump, which doesn't print the colour spreads so it was quite some time before I first saw a coloured picture of Nami!!! I was shocked at first but now I'm used to it!

it was totally worth downloading 120 gigs of one piece and watching them all so i could screenshot every ecchi moment
