in anticipation of the event i have created a new *official* tba steam group
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/thebackalleysofficial
the main reason being that i cannot edit the old one and i am not the admin of it either, so i can't add new server info to it

go ahead and join , i will do a mass invite when the server is up and running. i am anticipating that i will be able to get it started this week. no guarantees though

since this thread was bumped for no reason i might as well give an update on the situation. i'm not gonna even try and come up with an estimate as to when the server will be back up. the issue is that i am switching banks right now and there is a good chunk of money i thought i would have a lot earlier that i still don't have yet. so financially it's just not a good time for me to start this (because i want to host it on a vps instead of renting a shared server).

but this could change at any time and when it does i will definitely let you all know. sorry for getting all your hopes up for a july release.
