These extra doodles are nice, but the girl holding the sword with the dragon thing looks rather stiff. I can't really describe how, but it feels like your inking as improved too (although that might be the whole showing the form thing I mentioned on dA) but it looks a lot more smoother now!

mmm yea the japanese girl looked fine in the rough sketch but i got really lazy when inking her and missed the opportunity to keep her pose all loose. i should have probably revised that one a bit more

after months of doing flash work i actually havent had the time to practice inking in PS, but i'm glad you picked up on it, i've been doing more traditional shit lately so it's probably picked up from there

when i was uhhhh 14 i came up with a huge story that was basically a mix of akira and gunstar heroes, it was the greatest story never told. here's a character from it

My only irk with the teen pic is that you wouldn't be able to see the shape of the boob like that under a jacket like that. I think the sketched version is much stronger than the inked one - cause you got a bit sloppy with the anatomy and detail on the inked version imo (although the zip in both versions also bugs me cause they suggest her boobs are sorta cone shaped).

The samurai is mint though. I can't really fault it.

lmao i forgot she had tits so i added them in at the last sec. i always prefer rough sketches to cleaned up stuff unless i spend ages on the cleaned up stuff (like the samurai or the crocman from the last page) i was gonna spend longer on the girl but i was sick of inkin
