Looney Tunes/Gumball

The first episode of the Looney Toons Show was a mixed mag. Most of the first half was pretty shitty but I found the second half amusing. The second episode was horrible though. Lola's personality has no resemblance to her personality in Space Jam. I haven't watched Gumball yet (I don't watch TV nor do I have cable) but I'll definitely look into it sometime. Overall, I think The Looney Toons show is a terrible show. The only thing I like about it is the fact Daffy is a complete fucking dick on the show.

who cares what lola was like in space jam, space jam sucked. yeah i said it - i mean it was good when we were kids, but try watching it now. i don't care if they reinvent her character since she's not a looney tunes original.

I don't mind if they tried to make some big changes to her character considering how her character in general is so unknown compared to other Looney Toons characters but her personality resembles absolutely nothing like how she was in the past. They probably couldn't figure out how in incorporate her into the show without making her radically different because the writers are so shitty.

"How the hell are we going to incorporate a tomboy into the show?"
"Who the fuck knows. Let's just make her a complete nutjob."

Some of the changes to her character wouldn't bother me so much if they at least made her personality somewhat resemble how she was in Space Jam instead of radically different.

you think the writing in this show is bad, you haven't been watching cartoons lately.

You're correct I haven't been watching newer cartoons. Occasionally, I have gotten a taste of how terrible a lot of them are when my cousin has visited (prior to getting rid of cable last year) and a lot of them are awful. The writing for this show sucks, but the writing for a lot of those other shows are a complete abomination.

gumball ep 3 hasn't been encoded yet and if you aren't going to watch them on tv you'll have to wait a week after each episode comes out until you can see them
