now is the perfect time for new girl to come and ruin everything

Yeah, fuck... I hope this doesn't become another harem thing with next to no progress or character development...

a harem? i doubt it. this is actually the biggest leap in progress of rikka and yuuta's relationship in the 10 months or so they've been dating. i was getting kind of tired of their cripplingly shy and awkward feelings towards eachother.

It certainly is! But that's exactly why I am so sceptical. A pouring rainfall is usually followed by sunshine, but unfortunately the same phenomenon also works the other way around. And what would be a better way of doing that than giving the former love interest of the male lead a bigger role? She is listed as a protagonist of season 2 on several websites after all and so far she hasn't had much screentime.
I mean, we're all guys! Who doesn't know that? You're about to get your dick wet with with this bitch when suddenly love interest number two and three enter the scene for no apparent reason and shit gets interrupted in one of these super embarrassing and super funny ways. That is the very essence of the genre. The very essence of daily live for every normal run-of-the-mill 16 year old japanese high school student boy.

My prediction for the next episode is that they do not perform oral sex on each other.
Over and out.

if you remember in s1, the main conflict of the story didn't develop until the 2nd half. i've been anticipating it will be that way since the beginning. that's why i said that now is the perfect time for the new girl to come ruin everything, because rikka and yuuta have just made a huge leap forward. now they will have their relationship tested again.

It finally looks like this show has started to get interesting again. Episode 10 was pretty nice and it finally feels like the conflict is developing. The previous couple of episodes were a tad boring so I can see why there have been no posts in the past weeks, but right now they actually managed to create some feels once again. Anyone else still watching this?
:3

rtil

yes i am still watching it. as usual they waited way too long to start the main plot but it's slice of life at heart so i won't fault it too much. but they don't have much time to resolve this now that they've started it.

i hope you do realise this is kind of faggoty

im always touched by wops 'words of wisdom'

"He was shown the smallness and tinsel emptiness of the little Earth gods, with their petty, human interests and connections - their hatreds, rages, loves and vanities; their craving for praise and sacrifice and their demands for faiths contrary to reason and nature."

"...it stimulates the part of the brain called "shatners-bassoon", and that's the bit of the brain that deals with...time perception..."

Ok, nevermind that previous comment... it was a pretty cute and entertaining final episode. Especially for something that gets featured on Sankaku for showing skin, but I should've known that something like that wouldn't be the main feature of a final episode by KyoAni.

Then again, damn you KyoAni! They never let it end with the eagerly anticipated kiss for some retarded reason... (excluding very few exceptions) It's like a goddamn innocent cocktease!
Still, amazingly well directed. They really know how to create a certain mood. Good final episode, albeit not by far as good as that of season 1, which had a certain powerful vibe and a nice message.

All in all, this season was rather mediocre, though. While some episodes were really well done (mainly the ones focussing on the relationship of the protagonists), others were completely meaningless to the main plot and just not as entertaining as others (such as the sleep contest or the beach episode). Still, it was enjoyable.
