good man in grad school now. last yr, i took life drawing, learned maya and after effects, made an undergrad thesis film, and did end credits and opening titles for grad thesis films. this yr i worked on a live action music video and learned as3 and flash game coding, and now im working on another film, which im gonna try to do on pen and paper and scan into after effects.

trying to be a teaching assistant next yr in flash class, which will pay for tuition. might start sending my films to festivals.

I don't think I've seen any of your work before and yeah festivals are awesome so good luck on that front ^^ I do submit stuff to NG. I've been working on a cartoon series (although it's been major slow thanks to life busyness heh). But yeah it's getting there. What's your major in grad school btw? By the sounds of the classes you took I'd say media arts??

i worked at an animation/game studio for a year

got laid off b/c of shit economy

now i'm doing commission work for whoever wants them and every once in a while an actual legit company

pays the bills but not as well as a salary job would

i was an undergrad film major and now an animation grad student.

oh yea also this quarter im taking a class with andres deja as the teacher, he did all the main character animation on scar in lion king, jafar in alladdin, the king in little mermaid, and a ton more. kind of scary to see someone with that level of talent actually animate right in front of you and even critique your work. also got to meet floyd norman, the first black animator at disney. i guess disney suddenly likes my school or something. usually those kinds of teachers are reserved for calarts.
