I can. They shut Hudson Entertainment, canceled a few of the games I was interested in, and will probably turn HudsonSoft into a company like Zynga. Konami will have to do a lot to make up for this.

Yes. Super Bomberman 2 is a total classic. I recently spent $30 making a Bomberman costume for a birthday. I would not have walked around town dressed like this if I didn't like the series.

I was probably looking forward to Bomberman 3DS more than any other non-remake coming to the handheld.

retrosmash

a little piece of my soul is lost with every one of your posts :')

QuoteThe magazine's release calendar lists 3DS titles Bonk, Bomberman, Kororinpa and Omega Five as cancelled.

On the Wii, Deca Sports 4 is no more.

On the PS3, Bass Fishing Life (for Move), Bonk Brink of Extinction, Bomberman and Real Boxing (for Move) won't see the light of day.

Oh goddammit, I hate you so much Konami. Bomberman 3DS was the best looking Bomberman game I've seen in a long time. I'm so furious right now.
The article has been updated.

QuoteUpdate: A Konami spokesperson has responded to IGN saying the publisher has nothing to announce at this time regarding the future of the Hudson titles.

"Since the acquisition, Konami will continue to publish Hudson titles in the future, as of now those titles have not been confirmed. Details will be coming in the next few months."
It seemed really odd Konami would cancel pretty much everything Hudson was making but it looks like IGN's article might have been totally bogus.

Edit-

IGN is so fucking stupid. Looks like Bomberman 3DS is probably safe.

It's weird though, I don't think IGN was the only site to report that all those Hudson games were getting cancelled. I think Konami was unclear with their press release or something.

Doesn't matter though, good news is good news.

The article I linked showed that a lot of websites claimed all of Hudson's games are canceled due to an assumption, not a fact. IGN should have checked their facts and sources better before claiming all of Hudson's games in development are canned. It still shows Bomberman 3DS has been canceled on the IGN page. That's why I referred to IGN as stupid.
