i use a leadholder i cannot sharpen it, so what I do is usually press down really hard on my sketch with my pencil to outline that crap
but i love my leadholder I draw alot faster with it since im messy as fuck drawing

aren't there smaller lead holders? Also try using a mechanical pencil that might be nice.
