yeah we learned in my art class about the ideal ratios of the face. supposedly the more mathematically exact your face is, the more beautiful you are by conventional standards. i still think faces that dont adhere to the ideal proportions are cooler

i think some examples are that the outside edges of your nostrils should line up with the inner corners of each eye, and that the distance from your eyebrows to your hairline should be equal to the distance from your chin to your mouth, and i think the outside corners of your mouth should line up with the pupil of each eye. i dont remember the rest. there's probably a chart online explaining it

I like looking at interesting faces too. Some of my friends quickly sketch random people's faces before they never get a chance to see it again. Me, I try really, really hard to get a clear picture and not come off as a stalker... For the most part, it doesn't work.

Here's a bad picture I took of someone from a panel. As you can see, he has a high brow. From this angle, you can barely see his large-ish nose.



Someone in the audience was sketching him. You can see a bit of his friend's sketches too.



I tried to get my sister's sketches, but she wouldn't let me.

I want to take pictures of some of my professors, but they'd probably hate me if I tried. One of 'em has puffy-ish cheeks and reminds me of Alfred Hitchcock.
