i had no idea this was gonna be motion captured. i thought they were just gonna use actual actors

andy serkis is playing captain haddock(!) and simon pegg/nick frost are also in it as the twins

the weirdest thing is how it looks. its like that shitty christmas train film with tom hanks, but instead of going for realistic faces they've gone for realistic faces with a few cartoonish proportions like a huge nose



i dunno i think a style kinda like the goon's movie proposal would have looked better. but its tintin and edgar wright's helped out with the script so it might be a pretty cool film

i dont like how it looks based on that frame but i guess maybe it will have a funny script but to enjoy that i will have to ignore all the uglyness
