that and threads like "i met this guy" is pretty silly

This is why I don't want to make them myself.
It isn't permitted.

um J,

i guess everyone is having some sort of battle and it sounds really boring, but... do you really have to take my close encounter threads away from me?
those are all i really have left in life. i mean do you have any idea how much time  goes into making these threads happen? a whole lot. last night i was forced into some unsavory situations because there was no public transportation that was allowed to take me that far away from downtown Charlotte, and i didn't have that much money. i had to hitch a ride with one person on the way there, and another on the way back. the second guy turned out to be a real prick, and he just dumped me out on the side of the parkway and told me to catch a bus the rest of the way, but there were no buses, so i found an area that was covered by trees and decided to try to sleep there, but you know what? i couldn't sleep. i was sort of nervous that something bad might happen; some driver might pull over and mistakenly piss on me, or i might fall asleep and not wake up in time to somehow make the 12 mile trip for my morning flight to the airport with only one shoe and $2.44 left. Did I mention someone stole my coat while i was asking for directions at a McDonalds? i had some more money to get back in that coat.

but you know what? i rested there between the sounds of aggressive tires with a very slight smile on my face, knowing that i would see my thread the next day. i don't know if it sounds like i'm joking - i'm completely serious about everything but the smile. i try to collect these threads and you just bring me down.
seriously.
did you think before locking this thread about what might have gone into this? this wasn't like, "hey wow snow, no flight! i'm going to prance 27 miles over to some rural area with a bunch of upside down trailers lying around"

No. This was some pretty involved shit, J. This was more difficult that pressing a fucking lock button and moving on to some other thread. This meant making connections with types of people I've never met before, in ways that I've never even imagined
before. This meant going to some stranger's one year old granddaughter's mid-day birthday barbecue for ONE HOUR, in a really remote area. This meant spending nearly FIVE hours in Anigen's town, with some guy who wasn't Sasha or Taylor. This meant nearly getting
attacked at 3am by what I think might have been a marmoset, I don't know.
I ended up walking along the highway for about 5 hours after that, and i eventually found someone who would take me back to the airport area.

So uh...

I care.

I care a whole fucking lot.

Jesus christ.

Eventually I'm going to get around to meeting you, because I don't have enough threads to obtain the orangethree flooding and I know you probably won't
post a thread about it if i do, but when that day comes, I don't think the meeting is going to be very pleasant honestly.
First you insulted Hannah (my elegance) and now you have taken away my threads (my honor).
You know what I think?
I think it's about time someone took some abstract quality away from you so that maybe you would be able to understand what it feels like.

Anyway, you seem like a real swell, fantastic guy and I have nothing against you because you follow your dreams but you seem like a total fucking dick why would you do this? I wouldn't know, of course. I just have a feeling that the details about the marmoset won't move you.

Thank you.

(Oh. I guess someone unlocked the thread, but I'm still going to post this.)

I'm going to try this within the next few months at a session frequented mostly by former high school classmates. I'll get into awkward poses and choose a different classmate to smile-glare at without blinking for each 10 minute pose, hopefully growing aroused in the process.
I want to see how many will leave.
During the break I'll approach those who remain with questions about their college plans and how they've been, without putting on a robe.

Incredible.

I don't think I've seen any of her work before today, but her name seemed extremely familiar.
I knew she lived in Pennsylvania somehow, and apparently she lives in Harrisburg, PA. I'm pretty sure I met her a long time ago, though I might have just heard her name over a speaker system somewhere.

General / recurring elements in dreams
January 14, 2009 03:34 AM
1. Multiple intertwining storylines which come together in some ways at the end.

2. Brief opportunities to view the future lives of others (usually at very low resolutions and with heavy lag).

3. Mysterious people in isolated places, who offer to show me "reality" and "truth" through vivid visions, if I allow myself to be brought near death. The visions are always unsatisfying, and I awake from the experiences slightly mutilated each time.

4. First, a romance in the present... then a sudden fade to black, and the dream switches to an old love story in black and white (without music). There are parallels between the present romance and the love story of the distant past, and both end in failed relationships.

5. Period pieces - often primarily in dull shades of red, brown, yellow, and red-violet, with horse driven carriages, dirt roads, and candle light... but also with inconspicuously placed modern conveniences, like electricity powered grocery store freezers with fluorescent lights.

6. Flashbacks and flashforwards which help to progress the plot by actually changing the present reality each time.

7. Vast, seemingly infinite environments that are hidden inside of small spaces like walls and air vents. They are usually in a state of destruction when I find them.

8. A continuous loop of my view while riding a bicycle in a foggy void, while looking to my left at the outer wall of a gothic cathedral. I'm looking at a slight backwards angle, so that I can watch the wall disappearing into the fog behind me as I continue moving. The same stream of numbers is repeatedly written on the wall, and can be seen after about every five pillars that pass by.
---

The dreams themselves vary, but their basic structures stay the same.
When I was younger, I had a recurring dream over the course of two years, in which I would grab onto an outdoor, metal stairway railing with both hands, and let my feet lift off of the ground. Once my feet were aligned with my head, I would let go of the railing, and let myself float up into the skies and see everyone in the city from above. After a while of floating around, I would need to maintain a constant dog paddling motion in order to stay afloat.

Uhoh...

Sounds like an error.
Identity crisis.

I'm highly concerned about this recent development.
Over 60% of that information was written from a subjective viewpoint... not to mention very inaccurate.
You're obviously tapping into the wrong frequencies.
Remember that articles of this nature should always be written objectively - all sources cited.

This is not the healthiest course of action.
You'd best stick to your diet in this case...
If you're going to go as far as to even attempt to utilize Oliver Reipschläger abilities in this way, you might as well go ahead and make your confession now.

Oh, alright. Good idea.
