So I thought I'll post something for a change instead of some NG flash animations! This is a Chinese traditional animation made in the 60s about the legendary Sun Wukong. I think some of you already saw this one but I'll post anyway.

General / Setting up Capture station

I realized that if I were to scan each pencil page one at a time it's probably going to take forever. So I wonder how you could set up a "capture" station besides using scanner.

Many of you might find it boring (I find it to be slow in the first bit) but I thought the animation quality was really good (ok there are some choppy parts but that's about it) and the background drawings are excellent. His characters got great expressions as well. Pretty good for a fifteen-year old.

EDIT: So T.E.H got filtered now eh.

For me it would be option one, three, and four. I originally came here to find out more about why rtil and the star syndicate act the way they are and for Anipedia to help with improving my animation and drawing skills. What about you?

I guess this is pretty random but I kinda got a story to share. About 2 years ago me and my family visited San Francisco and there was this one convenient store we went in (I forgot the name.) So after we pick up all the stuffs and went to the cashier we paid with a $100 banknote. The cashier look at us in a very peculiar manner and he even lift the bank up and seems as if the bank was a fake on or something.

In United States is it supposed to be strange to carry banknotes around or something and everyone just use credit cards? Or what I experienced was "something else?"

Not photoshopped of course.

So yeah, I was wondering just out of curiosity how you came up with your nicknames that you've been using on the internet? My one is supposed to be an alternate spelling of my real nickname "Sunny."

And probably the only 2d animated feature film that's worth mentioning. Made by Payut Ngaokrachang. It's based from an epic-poem by Sunthorn Phu.

Unfortunately it's not available in DVD or video format. Unless you're born in the early 80s or attend film festivals, you'll probably never have the chance to watch it.

It's pretty much one of the films I wanted to watch but never got the chance to. One of the reasons that the film wasn't so well known (even in Thailand) was because my country doesn't support making cartoons and it's expensive to make compare to live-action films. If you ever have the chance to come across it (due to whatever reason) make sure you watch it.

I searched through the net and so far only came across five pictures which has something to do with this film.
